The Judge Memorial Parent Teacher Association performed an “Old Time Minstrel Show” in the auditorium. The cast included Mary O’Carroll, Stephen Regan, Clem Sheeran, Ed McGean, Catherine Collins, Edna Smythe, C. Clements, Keith Handly, Bob DesJardines, Miss L. Fleckenstein and Chester Dowse.

Joe Rinaldi became the first full-time, paid PE instructor and coach at Judge. A 1930 graduate of Tooele High, Rinaldi was a two-time All-Stater and played freshman football at Notre Dame before transferring to the University of Utah. He was a three-year starter at fullback, All-Conference his senior year. His football team went 2-4 with 25 players, beating Wasatch and North Summit.

Basketball resumed under Coach Joe Rinaldi, going 4-8.

The Class of 1936 had 33 graduates – 18 girls and 15 boys. They were Robert Brady, Patricia Gilligan, Upton Leonard, Catherine Hearley, William Riley, Doris Young, Raymond Case, Eleanor Phillips, George Murphy, Jean Huntjingen, Lawrence McKeague, Ellen Ann Brown, John Hanlon, Dorothy Maher, Paul Purcell, Marjorie McClelland, Arthur Kavanagh, Roberta McElroy, Daniel Vaughan, Helen Borich, Robert Best, Mollie Tomlinson, William Schultz, Emma Culley, Charles McPherson, Eleanor Graveline, William McQuillen, Adelaide Rinnetti, Robert Miller, Margene Harrington, Margaret Ashton, Elizabeth Keeffe and Catherine Middlemass.

Elizabeth Keeffe died the spring after graduation in Michigan. “Though her span of life was so brief, she had endeared herself to all who had the privilege of knowing her,” the Intermountain Catholic reported. George Murphy became a doctor in 1944, graduating from the Creighton University School of Medicine; Chester Dowse married 1931 St. Mary-of-the-Wasatch graduate Margaret Hand. They sent three children to Judge, where he taught drama, and she worked at Cathedral and Lourdes elementaries.
