Brian Chappell

Brian Chappell joined the Judge Memorial faculty in 2021. He taught for seven years in the English Department at Catholic University, earning the Capstone Award for Teaching Excellence, an award given to graduate student teachers. After Catholic University, Brian taught for five years at Georgetown Preparatory School in Maryland, followed by one year with Bard High School Early College, in the District of Columbia. He is also the Editor-in-Chief of Mouse Books, a publishing house devoted to publishing literary classics and works of emerging writers in small book format.
Mr. Chappell is a Washington, D.C. native who now lives in Salt Lake City with his wife Elizabeth and his daughters Sydney and Beverly. They enjoy hiking, traveling, learning guitar, and spending time with family.
