Matt Douglas joined Judge Memorial as Dean of Students in 2021 and was a Dean at a previous school in the Salt Lake Valley, as well as a history teacher at the K-12 and collegiate level. He came to Judge because of his deep appreciation for its history, values, and its incredibly diverse student body.
In his free time, Mr. Douglas enjoys playing Dungeons and Dragons, hiking in the beautiful Utah mountains, and spending time with his wife (Ashley) and their corgi (Philip). He also spends too much time coming up with trivia questions, and fun ways to blend a love of working with students and his fascination with our early modern European world.
Mr. Douglas is always happy to chat, and welcomes anyone to stop by at any time.
