Having recently moved to Utah, he is excited to help the students of Judge Memorial develop a passion for learning science. As a licensed physical therapist and certified strength and conditioning coach, he regularly mentors students interested in pursuing careers in healthcare and consistently volunteers with the Judge Memorial Cross Country team. In addition to teaching high school, Dr. MacKnight also serves as an adjunct anatomy and physiology professor with Grand Canyon University.
In his spare time, Dr. MacKnight likes to run, hike, play guitar, and go on adventures with his wife. He truly feels that teaching is his calling in life and strives to create a safe, fun, and memorable academic experience for students.
