ABOUT THE PROGRAM

Judge Memorial proudly launched its mountain biking team in the 2024-25 school year, making an impressive debut by winning its region. This achievement reflects the dedication, teamwork, and competitive spirit of our riders and coaches.

Rooted in the National Interscholastic Cycling Association's (NICA) Five Core Principles—Fun, Inclusivity, Equity, Respect, and Community—our program fosters a supportive environment where every athlete can thrive. We emphasize skill development, confidence, and a lifelong love for the sport.

The team trains alongside the Salt Lake Composite Devos and Highland High School teams, benefiting from a strong and collaborative environment. Practices begin in the spring, leading into a four-race season starting in August and culminating at the state championships in mid-October. Judge Memorial competes in Region 3, part of Utah’s six-region league, the largest high school mountain biking league in the nation with over 7,000 participants.

With multiple divisions and a low rider-to-coach ratio, our program welcomes athletes of all experience levels. Whether you're new to the sport or a seasoned competitor, there's a place for you on the Judge Memorial Mountain Biking Team.
