Swim Team: Repeat State Champions for 2023!

They did it! The Judge Swim Team is a State Champion once again. Incredible three-peat for the boys and a back-to-back title for the girls, the 13th in program history! Boys grabbed the new 3A medley relay state record, beating the time that sat on Utah’s record books since 1977. And Nico Morton now holds six total school swimming records. Coach Chad Starks was also named the 2023 Boys Coach of the Year! What an honor to watch these student-athletes rise to the challenge again. Ice water in the veins and passion in their hearts.

It was quite a scene in our hallway when the team officially presented their 2023 State Champion trophies. School record holders also got to update the record board between the boys 200 medley relay team and Nico Morton for individual events.

Congrats to the student-athletes, parents and Coach Starks for driving this remarkable program with such grit and heart. Keep it up and we’re gonna have to build a bigger trophy case!
