Ms. Howa-Johnson is a proud Utah native and a product of the Diocese of Salt Lake City, having attended J.E. Cosgriff and Judge Memorial. She taught theater and theology for two years at Juan Diego Catholic High School, worked for the Diocese of Salt Lake City for five years as the Director of Communications, and most recently taught middle school religion and social studies for 13 years at St. Vincent de Paul.
She returned to her alma mater to lead the Campus Ministry program in 2023.
Ms. Howa-Johnson loves music, theater, traveling, reading, being outside, and spending time with her husband, two children and two cats.
