OUR PROGRAM
Girls golf at Judge has a long and rich history and the team continues to build on this remarkable legacy. Golf is a great lifetime sport, and at Judge, it is a developmental program that promotes skills, competition, and fun.
Kathy Judge, whose family donated the land to build the hospital that is now Judge Memorial Catholic High School, was a great golfer herself and won the Utah State Women's Amateur in 1902 and 1904. In 1990, Patty Brimley, a Judge alumna and former Judge head coach, won the Utah State Women's Amateur championship. In 2009 and 2010, Judge alumna Natalie Stone was victorious in the Utah State Women's Amateur. And in 2008, the inaugural year of high school girls golf, Judge’s own Ali Nakamura won the individual state title after shooting a 78 and competing in a six-hole playoff.
